Welcome to the EcoVillage

As a sustainable or eco-friendly business - how you can be involved with a network of like-minded organisations that exhibit together, in a distinct area, to audiences of 80,000 – 100,000?

Be a part of The EcoVillage!

While exhibiting a stall is often a great way to promote your organisation to a large number of people in a short space of time, setting up at large events, such as County Shows, carries the risk of your stall getting lost in the crowd.  By being in isolation at a large event, you may not stand out enough to attract many people, resulting in an inadequate return on the money you invested to exhibit.

One option may simply be to go for smaller events – perhaps even ones dedicated to the environment.  But while this is a good idea to target specific customers, we all know that in these challenging times, Ethical and Green organisations sorely need to expand and reach out to new people.

That’s why we set up The EcoVillage, to give Green and Ethical organisations a distinct area to exhibit to huge audiences at big events.  The EcoVillage is highly visible and heavily promoted within each show or event.  Being a part of The Eco Village has enabled our exhibitors to engage with a wide range of people, and educate them about their products and services - while also broadening people’s awareness of the importance of building a sustainable future together.

As you can imagine, this approach has been a big success for many of our exhibitors.  An overwhelming majority of them come back every year to sign up to future events.

So what can you expect from exhibiting at The EcoVillage?
Well, while most of our clients just expect to hand out promotional material and connect with people, many of them are delighted by how easy it proves to make sales of both low- and high-ticket items.

But The EcoVillage is not just about creating a space for Green and Ethical companies to sell products and services while getting their message out there.  We aim to give you as much support as possible throughout your experience with us.  We pride ourselves on a very personal approach, ensuring that we have additional support mechanisms in place so there’s always someone for you to call at any stage to answer your questions.  During the event we will be ever-present to assist with whatever you need, from putting up your marquee to introducing you to people that may be interested in your organisation.

One of the additional benefits The EcoVillage provides for you is the community it creates.  It’s an opportunity to network with like-minded organisations; share experiences and potentially set up joint ventures.

We have been EcoVillagers now for a few years now and we are looking forward to the EcoVillage events for 2010. With things being as they are, we, like most businesses, need to ensure that we continue to invest in marketing while making sure that we receive a pro-active return for that expenditure . Wildthing are looking forward to this years EcoVillage events because we had a very successful return from the events in 2009.

At 20:20 we secured three new clients, The Kent County Should was better still. We realised two new associates (with whom we can network with and share referrals) These two new associates realised (directly and indirectly ) 6 new commissions of work . Our 2009 season finished at The EcoVillage at Construction Expo where we received another two commissions . All in all being a Eco Villager brought in a gross return of about 20k for 2009
