The EcoVillage is an idea which has evolved since our first meeting with the Kent County Showground Team in 2008 when we proposed a new, interesting and socially relevant area within the Kent County Show.
 
The first EcoVillage was held at the Show from 11th to 13th July 2008, and we are pleased to say it was a resounding success.  Since then we have increased The EcoVillage area from 2000sq m in that first year to over 7000sq m for 2010 as well as constantly adding new shows. 

We have now been working with events to promote green business for three years, and were pleased to add Gardeners World Live to our portfolio in 2010. See our events pages for details of 2010 and 2011 events, including our latest additions, Festive Gift Fair and British Leisure Show.
